How To Care For Your Synthetic wig

Washing & Drying

Only use products recommended by your specialist. These can be purchased in the salon at any time. Pieces should be cleansed every 7 wearings. Start by brushing your piece to remove any tangles, starting at the ends and working your way up. Fill a sink or basin with cool-lukewarm water. Dissolve cleanser in water. Hold your piece at the front of the base and swirl piece in a “figure 8” motion - do not scrub or aggressively rub as the synthetic fibers will tangle. Empty water and refill with only water to rinse. Repeat “figure 8” movement in just water. Blot your piece dry with a towel and spray with detangling and conditioning products. Leave to air dry on mannequin head. Never blow-dry or use heat to dry your piece.
